Andalusia selects the 10 companies with the greatest potential for growth in Europe

The selection committee of the SCALE-UP 2021 programme has chosen a total of ten companies from among the 16 that have applied for its third call. This initiative is promoted by CESEAND, the Andalusian node of the European Commission’s Enterprise Europe Network, coordinated by the Regional Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities, the Andalusian Confederation of Entrepreneurs (CEA), and the Andalusian Council of Chambers of Commerce and aims to advise the ten most promising firms in the region so that they can take advantage of the opportunities offered by Europe.

The committee is made up of a total of eleven evaluators who are experts in acceleration and entrepreneurship, access to financing, and international markets. In this evaluation process, they have taken into account various criteria, such as the experience and leadership of the team, the growing turnover, the markets, the fit with the programme and, of course, the ambition to scale in Europe.

The chosen companies are Dattechs Analytics S.L. (Plannifai), a project, task and people management application for Facility Services companies; Dnt Non Woven Fabrics S.A., dedicated to the manufacture of high-quality non-woven fabrics for a wide range of sectors; Duponte Investigación y Desarrollo S.L., a bioinformatics platform specialising in medicines that generates health alerts based on the patient’s genome. Also Fiixit Orthotic Lab S.L., focused on the digital transformation of orthopaedics by integrating 3D printers within its facilities; Hello Insurance Group Compañía de Seguros, S.A., the first universal connected car platform with an aftermarket solution; and Industria Española para el Desarrollo e Investigación 2100 S.A. (Graphenstone), creating ecological, natural and sustainable environments, increasing comfort and quality of life by turning the world of paints upside down.

Also in this ranking are Metrica6 Ingeniería y Desarrollos S.L., a cyber-physical solution (hardware and software) for saving water in different types of consumers and sectors; Noruco S.L., manufacturer of a complete line of innovative endoscopy products for surgical interventions; and Nosolosoftware Network S.L., agile development of customised SW with its own SaaS products for end clients. Likewise, Plytix S.L., a product information management system in SaaS format for companies working in the e-commerce sector.

Over the next six months, these companies will acquire the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to replicate their business models in Europe. To this end, CESEAND technicians will provide them with a training and capacity-building programme aimed at increasing their skills in international scaling.

This programme will focus both on the organisation of training and informative seminars and workshops and the provision of specialised support and advisory services with a European dimension, in the form of coaching and mentoring, focused on improving the business model, commercial strategy and access to financing. They will also offer support in terms of financing, access to new international markets, international cooperation and technology transfer as well as intellectual property and technology watch.
