The Andalusian economy grew by 3.1% in the third quarter of this year concerning the same period of the previous year, four-tenths of a percentage point higher than the estimate for the national economy as a whole, which stands at 2.7%, according to the advance of GDP made by the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA), which reports to the Regional Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities. This growth in the third quarter is explained by the good performance of the services sector as a whole.
The Industrial Turnover Index in Andalusia increased by 30.1% year-on-year in August, six points more than in the previous month and almost double that at the national level (17.1%), making six consecutive months of increase. Andalusian exports to the United Kingdom (UK) have increased in the first seven months of the year by 16.1% year-on-year to reach 1,413.9 million euros, according to the Brexit Monitoring Report on the Andalusian economy presented by the Department of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities of the Government of Andalusia.

The number of registered companies in August 2021 in Andalusia amounted to 235,477, registering a growth of 2.1% compared to the same month in 2020. This is equivalent to 4,865 more entities. These data come from the Weekly Economic Observatory of the Junta de Andalucía presented by the Government of Andalusia.

Andalusian meat exports reach a new record high of €263 million euros after growing by 13.9% in the first half of the year
Andalusia recorded a new record for meat product exports in the first half of 2021 by reaching 263 million, the highest figure achieved by the community for this period since there have been comparable records (1995), thanks to a 13.9% increase in sales compared to the first half of 2020, benefiting all Andalusian provinces and 16 of its first 20 foreign markets. Since its launch in 2014, ‘Andalucía Open Future’ has promoted more than 200 startups in its acceleration programme for high-performance companies and has become one of the benchmark initiatives to support technological entrepreneurship in the region. This programme, led by the Regional Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities, and Telefónica, with the collaboration of the city councils of Malaga, Almeria, and Cordoba, has incorporated 24 companies made up of 164 entrepreneurs in the acceleration spaces of El Cubo (Seville), La Farola (Malaga), El Cable (Almeria) and El Patio (Cordoba) in 2021.
