Exports from Andalusia experienced strong growth in latest figures of March, up 22% compared to the same month in 2020, reaching 3,203 million euros, its the second-best figure for this month since comparable data has been available (1995). This is the highest monthly growth recorded by exports since April 2018 (22.1%), which, moreover, is 7.7 points higher than the drop recorded by sales in March 2020 due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic (-14.3%), which places the Andalusian foreign sector on the path of reactivation, with a year-on-year growth of 1% in the first quarter of 2021.
