Extenda Global will take place on 17 and 18 November in Seville

Extenda Global 2021, the annual event that brings together Andalusia’s foreign sector, will once again be held in person on 17 and 18 November at Fibes (Seville). The event, which is the largest international trade meeting held in Andalusia, has today opened its registration period through the web portal www.extendaglobal.es, where companies can also formalise their requests for B2B meetings with representatives of the 62 countries they are interested in, of the 62 in which the Extenda External Network provides services.

Extenda Global returns in 2021 to its face-to-face format, after the year 2020 in which the circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic meant that the event was held, for the first time, in a 100% digital format. An edition that ended with great success, after closing 1,299 digital business meetings between more than a thousand professionals from participating Andalusian companies and those responsible for Extenda’s Foreign Network, which provides services in 62 countries.

Extenda Global is organised by Extenda, an entity dependent on the Regional Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior; and has the collaboration of the Andalusian Confederation of Employers (CEA) and the Andalusian Council of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation, and ICEX- España Exportación e Inversiones.

Extenda Global 2021 will bring together the main strategic agents of the sector and the Extenda External Network, with Andalusian companies, to hold B2B meetings to plan their international actions for the following year and to be able to access the latest news and services related to foreign trade, through an exhibition area and a full programme of conferences with prestigious international speakers.

For more than 15 years, Extenda has been organising the most important annual event for promoting the internationalisation of Andalusian companies in different ways. In its last on-site edition in 2019, 1,600 professionals from 789 companies participated, interested in doing business in international markets, who held more than a thousand interviews with the heads of the 56 countries represented. Likewise, the 2020 event, which was 100% digital, also achieved significant quotas with the presence of 1,200 professionals, 645 companies, and 1,299 B2B interviews.

To support companies to strengthen the foreign sector and revive the economy of Andalusia, companies in the community that sign up to Extenda Global 2021 will be able to learn first-hand about new business opportunities through direct contact with the 62 markets of the Extenda Foreign Network, through scheduled meetings. They will also have access to all the services and instruments that Extenda makes available to boost their exports, such as the Andalusia Network, and the innovative measures of the recently approved Strategy for the Internationalisation of the Andalusian Economy 2021-2027 (EIEA 21-27).

The companies that come to Fibes will be able to access services for internationalisation from strategic partners, such as the Andalusian Council of Chambers of Commerce and the Andalusian Confederation of Entrepreneurs (CEA), both collaborators of Extenda Global 2021, and other private entities. Finally, companies in the region will have access to strategic information on the current international trade panorama and the opportunities that are opening up at this juncture, through a full programme of conferences with speakers of international prestige.
