Andalusian meat exports reach a new record high of €263 million euros after growing by 13.9% in the first half of the year

Andalusia recorded a new record for meat product exports in the first half of 2021 by reaching 263 million, the highest figure achieved by the community for this period since there have been comparable records (1995), thanks to a 13.9% increase in sales compared to the first half of 2020, benefiting all Andalusian provinces and 16 of its first 20 foreign markets. Andalusia’s agri-food exports closed the 2020 financial year with a new export record of 11,255 million euros, its best historical record since comparable data has been available (1995), while also contributing a record trade surplus of 7,040 million euros to the regional economy.
