Andalusia will once again take centre stage at the next International Tourism Trade Fair (Feria Internacional de Turismo – FITUR), which will be held in Madrid from Wednesday 19 May to Sunday 23.
According to the vice-president of the Government of Andalusia, Juan Marín, “it will be the most important edition in history, because it will be the starting signal for this sector to get going and reactivate itself”. His aim is for the world to trust that the region of Andalusia is a safe destination and a magical place to produce emotions. Unique, diverse and unsurpassed.
Andalusia will have the largest exhibition space at the fair. There will be 5,300 square metres in Ifema, where 14 different areas have been set up, full of information, experiences, novelties, surprises and lots of technology. “We must not forget that this is a fair for doing business and that is why we have a business area with 44 work tables where companies and institutions will be able to share information, present their products and close deals,” explained Marín.
Another area is the segment area. This year, the entire range of Andalusian products has been grouped into four blocks: Naturally responsible, Naturally active, Naturally close and Naturally magical. There will also be interactive areas
