Aerospace & Defence Meetings-ADM Seville 2021 to be held in May

Aerospace and Defence Meetings-ADM Seville 2021 will be held from 26 to 27 May as a blended event. It will be the fifth edition of the largest aerospace business event in southern Europe.

The event will develop part of its opening programme and conferences in a face-to-face format and the rest, including B2B meetings between professionals, through an attractive virtual platform.

The meeting has been held every two years since 2012 and is the largest of its kind in southern Europe. It is organised by Extenda, an agency of the Government of Andalusia, and the French company BCI Aerospace, a specialist in international meetings in the aeronautical sector.

The blended event format of ADM Seville 2021 will allow part of the conferences to be held in person, by invitation, and the rest of the activities in a digital version. In this way, the Andalusian Government, through Extenda, maintains its commitment to promote the generation of business for a strategic sector in Andalusia, such as aerospace, and the maintenance of Andalusia as a strategic point in the world business circuit of this industry, with a high capacity to attract foreign investment to Andalusia.

Its organisers also guarantee that ADM Seville will be held again in 2022, from 7 to 9 June next year. It will therefore be the first time that it will be held two years in a row, once again with its usual size and format, which brings together more than 1,000 professionals and strategic agents from the sector from all over the world.

Once again Airbus is participating as the main sponsor. It is the largest European aeronautical manufacturer. Also acting as sponsors are the three Tier 1 aerostructures manufacturers in Spain, Aernnova, Alestis, and Aciturri, thus demonstrating, in these difficult times, the full support of the Spanish aerospace industry to ADM Seville.

This event will feature a programme of high-level conferences by authorities and experts from the sector under the common thread of innovation as a key factor in these times of pandemic and crisis in the sector. Part of these conferences will be in face-to-face format with all the security measures for the current situation.

This action will be complemented by a programme of workshops, hundreds of B2B meetings between companies, and a virtual exhibition area that attendees will be able to visit via a digital platform.

The organisation of ADM Seville 2021 will be co-financed with funds from the European Union.
