Auténtica Premium Food Fest makes Andalusia the nerve centre of the Mediterranean Diet

Auténtica Premium Food Fest, the most relevant meeting of distribution managers, wholesalers, importers, specialised shops, caterers, gastronomic chefs and the retail sector of the food industry, will host more than 5,000 professionals at Fibes, in Seville, on 25 and 26 September. Crespo stressed that “this congress will position our land as the nerve centre of the Mediterranean Diet”.

The slogan chosen for this first edition of Auténtica is ‘Mediterranean Diet in its purest form’ and the event will be attended by nearly 200 companies, such as Oleoestepa, Grupo La Caña, Acesur, Borges, Trops, Sibbaris or Makro, which have already confirmed their attendance.

The Auténtica Premium Food Fest in Seville offers a space for innovation. There will be talk of the future, creativity, passion and conversation with other disciplines, always with respect for the origin. Auténtica Premium Food Fest is the most influential annual professional event for the premium and gourmet food and beverage industry.

Within the framework of the Auténtica Congress, there will be a debate forum with 4 simultaneous auditoriums where the new gastronomic trends and novelties that are emerging in the current context will be shared. More than 290 experts from all over the region will participate in more than 120 conferences and 24 workshops to bring their ideas to owners of catering establishments, area managers, purchasing managers, F&B managers, chefs and restaurateurs.

Among the Andalusian chefs participating in the Auténtica Premium Food Fest are Juanlu Fernández, Javier Abascal, Iván Valero, Dani Carnero, Juan Carlos García, José Álvarez, Pablo Fuentes, Celia Jiménez and Lola Marín. The Culinary Fest by Gusto del Sur will bring together other chefs, such as Paco Pérez, Nandu Jubany, Nino Redruello, Raúl Balam Ruscadella and Pepa Muñoz, who will debate points of view with personalities from different sectors, while the Gastromarketing Forum will analyse issues such as the importance of social networks in the field of communication in gastronomy, to reach a younger audience.

The Horeca Forum will study the main trends in business and team management, addressing the importance of the use of premium products in the hotel and catering industry, and everything is rounded off with the Degusta experience space, where the most exquisite and innovative gourmet food and drinks of our gastronomy will be tasted.

The director of Auténtica, Sergio Fabregat, emphasised that “with Auténtica we want to encourage a new dialogue between the food industry and the retail trade, to contribute to changing the perception of our industry in society”.

For his part, the president of LANDALUZ, Asociación Empresarial Alimentos de Andalucía, Álvaro Guillén, highlighted the importance of “Andalusia becoming the national agri-food epicentre with an event of this magnitude, where importers, distributors and professionals from the catering world can learn about the innovation taking place in the food industry”.
