The Andalusian health system prevents occupational risks in companies with a software application

The Andalusian Health Service (Servicio Andaluz de Salud: SAS) has launched a computer application to improve coordination in occupational risk prevention with companies. This is the ieDOCe application for the electronic exchange of documentation between companies (CAE), which will simplify procedures and streamline relations between the SAS and companies, digitalising the management of documents exchanged.

In this way, this application aims to improve and speed the coordination of business activities, given the large number of external companies present in the various SAS centres. This helps to eliminate or control the occupational risks that may be generated in the development of the services provided and significantly reduces the exchange of paper documentation.

“It is an initiative that adds value to preventive management and at the same time is in line with the environmental management policy due to the effort made to minimise the use of paper,” said the director general of Human Resources, Pilar Bartolomé, during the week in which the World Day for Safety and Health at Work was celebrated on 30 April.
