The Government of Andalusia will distribute another 732 million euros to companies for the pandemic

The president of the Government of Andalusia, Juanma Moreno, has announced a new injection of 732.44 million euros in direct aid to the Andalusian productive framework. Moreno stresses that this is the largest aid package approved in any autonomous community in Spain for the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first block of the plan includes fourteen lines of aid aimed at maintaining employment and economic activity. It allocates a total of 585 million euros to help Andalusian small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) to maintain employment in the sectors hardest hit by the crisis.

The second block of aid, which is aimed at protecting the most needy and vulnerable people, includes a total of 107 million euros and includes some measures such as the creation of an extraordinary benefit for situations of maximum need, endowed with 30 million euros. The third block of aid is for the staff reinforcement plan in the Andalusian Administration, with a budget of 40.4 million euros for more than 1,700 new hires in the eight provinces.

At the end of 2020, a very important aid package of 667 million euros was launched, which offered direct aid to more than 125,000 self-employed workers and more than 9,000 guarantees were granted through Garántia. In addition, more than 100 million have been earmarked for direct actions to contain the exceptional emergency.
